| How to register a .EU domain name? | ||||||||||||||
The registration of European domain names has started on April 7 th 2006. The registration system is similar to that of other domain extensions. Domain names are adjudged on the basis of the principle: "first come, first served", there is a quarantine period of 40 days after a domain name is deleted and there are special procedures for transferring a domainname from one registrar to another or from one licensee to another. At this moment it is already possible to register .EU domainnames. |
